BIOGRAPHIES
Wayne Kuyer
Founder (Retiring)
As a founding Partner, Wayne always believed that the firm’s success was directly related to the growth and prosperity of its clients. Along with a hands-on personal approach to servicing clients, he also believed in building a strong teamwork environment.
As a graduate of the University of British Columbia, Wayne obtained his designation in 1985. With over 37 years of experience in providing personal, corporate and estate planning, Kuyer & Associates continues to provide innovative and comprehensive solutions to clients.
Over the past years, control of the practice has slowly been transitioned to Kyle Murray and Nash Sharma. They continue to build on the success of the practice with the injection of fresh ideas and new growth. Although Wayne enjoys spending time in the office (to visit and consult with clients), he continues to reduce his presence in the office and is primarily working from home.
Wayne remains involved in supporting the local community. ln playing the fictional character of Jacob Marley (A Christmas Carol), Kuyer & Associates continues to support their annual fundraiser to secure donations on behalf of the Langley Christmas Bureau and the Province Empty Stocking Fund.
Kyle Murray CPA, CA
Partner
Kyle believes that the most satisfying part of his job is seeing a genuine smile on a client’s face. Perhaps that’s why he has a passion for small business and loves to work with both budding and experienced entrepreneurs. In fact, it has been a driving force behind his dedication to exceed client’s expectations.
After articling with MNP LLP. in 2010, he left to explore the world of small business accounting with Dorward & Company LLP., an Edmonton-based accounting firm. Now a Langley resident, Kyle continues his great work. He puts his diverse skillset and small business expertise to good use by helping businesses in and around the lower mainland.
When he’s not at the office, Kyle is busy hanging out with his wife and three young sons. He enjoys hiking the many great trails around the lower mainland or any kind of family outing. Between work and family, he’s a busy guy and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Kyle also has a genuine interest in helping others and has assisted various not for profit groups in his local community and is looking for new opportunities to give back in the Langley area.
Nash Sharma, CPA
Partner
Nash specializes in providing accounting, tax and estate services to a diverse range of clients. He has worked with clients in a wide range of industries from oil and gas to professionals with corporations.
As a bilingual professional, Nash is fluent in speaking Punjabi.
Nash joined Kuyer & Associates in January 2021. Prior to joining our firm, he gained valuable experience working for a mid-size and global accounting firm in the Fraser Valley.
A member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia, Nash obtained his CPA designation in 2016. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology with a major in Accounting as well as a Diploma in Financial Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
In his spare time, Nash enjoys travelling with his wife and staying active through various sporting activities. He also enjoys spending time with his friends, including his little dog Kobe!
Peter Dhesi, CPA
Manager
Peter joined Kuyer & Associates as a Manager in the summer of 2023, bringing over 5 years of accounting, tax, and advisory experience gained at small, midsize, and global accounting firms.
A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Peter’s passion lies in helping to empower small to midsize business owners and professionals with the knowledge they need to thrive. He strives to offer personalized guidance based on a deep understanding of each client’s unique aspirations, to ensure that each client receives tailored strategies for their version of success – whether that’s taking their business to new heights or just enjoying life!

Outside of the office, Peter enjoys sharing precious moments and creating new memories with his wife and two young sons. When he can find time, he is also an avid (recreational) athlete that enjoys chasing long forsaken NHL, PGA, and many other sports dreams.
Angela Miles
Office Administrator
Always armed with a smile, Angela works as a link between clients and staff. Her main duty is to ensure the prompt delivery of all our services.
Angela is an integral part of the team. She helps in the management and processing of personal income tax returns and continues to gain in-depth knowledge of personal income tax matters.
Over the years she has developed a strong working knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software and has become the office liaison for handling QuickBooks inquiries and setups.
In her spare time, Angela can be found gardening, reading or enjoying the great outdoors.
Judy Girard
Accountant
Judy has a strong accounting background and vast experience, allowing her to assist a variety of clients with their bookkeeping and accounting needs.
She was a member of the Certified General Accountant Association for many years and has worked in the accounting field for over thirty years.
We are proud to say that most of those years have been dedicated to serving the clients of Kuyer & Associates.
Outside the office, Judy enjoys spending time with her friends, reading and knitting.
Ruby Kundi
Accountant
Do you remember playing ‘connect-the-dots’ as a kid? That system of logical progression is what Ruby strives to implement when preparing files and working through complex accounting problems. Prior to joining Kuyer & Associates in October 2021 as administration, she worked for several years as a retail manager valuing client retention and maintaining efficiency.
In addition to her work experience, Ruby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Labour Studies from Simon Fraser University. Her educational background has equipped her with a deep understanding of the economic factors that impact business success as well as the importance of fair labour practices. Eager to expand the depth of her knowledge within the accounting field, she constantly seeks new opportunities for development.
When she is not working, Ruby can often be found volunteering, spending time with her dog, and acquiring new hobbies and interests.
Steven Madill
Administration
Steven joined Kuyer & Associates late in October of 2022. Having served in an administrative capacity for previous employers, he finds great satisfaction in honing the skills required for office administration. This new direction in his career is a welcome change from his previous vocations, and one he tackles with great enthusiasm.
Seeking to refine his skills and experience in such an environment, Steven looks forward to being the first point of contact between the outside world and Kuyer & Associates. He strives to undertake this responsibility with both professionalism and a cheerful attitude. Otherwise, he seeks to assist in the maintenance of a strong administrative backbone for the team in order to ensure that the needs of both clients and his colleagues are met or exceeded.
In his personal life, Steven spends his time reading, writing, and running TTRPGs alongside the usual gambit of digital entertainment – predominantly video games, audiobooks, and podcasts.
Laine Kuyer
Administration
Laine offers exceptional administrative and internal office support services. She works directly with all staff to assist in completion of various client files.
Outside the office, Laine is active in raising a young family with three little boys. In addition, she somehow finds time to coach soccer and partake in many other outdoor activities.
